The Zeta Psi “Henry A. Suzzallo” Scholarship

What: Multiple $500 Scholarships

Why: Henry A. Suzzallo served as president of the University of Washington from 1915 to 1926, and in this time became an honorary member of Zeta Psi. He always placed emphasis on the character of his students; scholarship was important but not primary, nor were wealth or social position. Zeta Psi is proud to live up to Dr. Suzzallo’s expectations. The Zeta Psi Fraternity has thrived at the University of Washington since 1920. In this time Zeta Psi has supported the best interest of its members, its University, and its community. This scholarship will facilitate the expenses of the University to its recipients who display the traits that Dr. Suzzallo stressed. This scholarship is available to any incoming male freshman to the University of Washington. Application before UW admission acceptance is encouraged, although finalists must be accepted at the time of interview. The number of worthy applicants will determine the number of $500 scholarships granted.
